Description: A small and picturesque museum that tells the story of the Israeli Beit Shean from the establishment of the crossing in 1949 - is based on photographs, pictures, objects of material culture from long ago and dolls that represent the ethnic diversity of the population.

שם: המוזיאון לתולדות בית שאן
תיאור: מוזיאון קטן וציורי המספר את סיפורה של בית שאן הישראלית מהקמת המעברה ב-1949- מתבסס על צילומים,תמונות , חפצי תרבות חומרית משכבר הימים ובובות המייצגות את הרבגוניות האתנית של האוכלוסיה.
הערות: בית שאן-אתר ארכיאולוגי רב-תקופתי בתחומי העיר -בתל שכנה העיר המקראית והטרום מקראית- וממערב לה העיר הרומית ביזנטית המפוארת שנימנתה על עשר ערי הדקפוליס. נהרסה כליל ברעידת האדמה ב-749 ומאז לא שוקמה. היתה ישוב קטן בתקופה הצלבנית העות'מנית והמנדט. החלה כמעברה ב1949 וברבות השנים הפכה לעיר המונה כ-20.000 נפש.
