Description
English: Taken from the ABI instrument onboard the GOES-East satellite, this infrared image of Tropical Depression One-E was taken on May 28, 2022 at 07:20 (UTC) 2:20 AM (Central Daylight Time), at the time this image was captured Tropical Depression One-E just had recently formed off the coast of Oaxaca about 4 1/2 hours prior kicking off the 2022 Pacific hurricane season. At the time this image was taken One-E had a central pressure of 1,006 mbar (29.7 inHg) and 1-minute sustained winds of 35 MPH (30 KNOTS; 55 KMH) and it was moving West at 7 MPH (6 KNOTS; 11 KMH) as of the 10:00 PM CDT advisory on the previous day.
