Description

At the National Science Board (NSB) meeting on May 6, 2014, Richard Tapia, mathematician at Rice University’s Computational and Applied Mathematics Department and recipient of the 2014 Vannevar Bush Award, gave a presentation about mentoring underrepresented minorities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and being Mexican American.
