Description

The American Association for the Advancement of Science’s (AAAS) Science & Technology (S&T) Policy Fellowships were named recipient of the 2014 Public Service Award for a group. Cynthia Robinson, director of the S&T Policy Fellowships, accepted the award. The fellowships were recognized “for providing S&T expertise to enhance policymaking for the benefit of the nation, and fostering a network of science and engineering leaders who understand government and policymaking, and are prepared to develop and execute solutions to address societal challenges.” Board member Ruth David, chairman of the ad hoc Committee on Honorary Awards, presented the award.
