	Central America
English	Central America Central America is a central geographic region of the Americas. It is variably defined either as the southern portion of North America, which connects with South America on the southeast, or a region of the Americas in its own right.
Español	América Central, también llamada Centroamérica , es un subcontinente que conecta América del Norte con América del Sur. Geográficamente se sitúa entre la frontera sur de México, y la frontera norte de Colombia, rodeada por el Océano Pacífico y el Océano Atlántico. Su extensión territorial continental es aproximadamente 762,064 kilómetros cuadrados. Fisiográficamente, de acuerdo con algunos geógrafos, la América Central se extiende desde el Istmo de Tehuantepec en México, hasta el Golfo de Urabá en Colombia.
Français	L’Amérique centrale est la partie du continent américain située entre la frontière sud du Mexique, en Amérique du Nord, et la frontière nord-ouest de la Colombie, en Amérique du Sud. Elle est à différencier de la Mésoamérique qui, d'un point de vue historique, s'étendait dans les régions du Sud du Mexique jusqu’au Nord du Costa Rica via la côte Pacifique du Nicaragua avant la conquête espagnole.
