Alianza Domincana was a prominent Dominican social services organization founded in 1985 that by 2012 was subject to charges of internal corruption, and the building was empty. In 2013 the Alianza Dominicana Cultural Center moved in. The building is owned by the City of New York. (Sources: NYC GIS map, Cross Streets, Empire Guides, Voices of NY)
