Augustus III (Augustus III the Saxon or the Corpulent; (de:August III. von Polen); ((pl:August III Sas, August III Gruby}}; b. Dresden, 17 October 1696 - d. Dresden, 5 October 1763) was the Elector of Saxony in 1733-1763 (as Frederick Augustus II (de:Kurfürst Friedrich August II.) and also King of Poland in 1734-1763.
