en: Aysgarth is a village and civil parish in Wensleydale, in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire, about sixteen miles south-west from Richmond. The village is in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. According to the 2001 census the parish had a population of 197. The village gives its name to the nearby Aysgarth Falls.
