It has been proposed to move Category:Baby cars to Category:Baby carriers
Reason: "Baby car" is probably a bad translation of the German kinderwagen, but whatever its origin most English speaking people would think of something like this if asked what a baby car was. An alternative name of this category is en:Baby transport, the current Wikipedai name.
Date: Missing. Please add the following to the template: |3=2013-05-23
Objections and discussion have their place at Category talk:Baby cars (two weeks are considered as adequate time for possible objections). See Commons:Rename a category for general information and policy.
  • If the proposed rename is clearly uncontroversial or consensus-decided, place the bot command (see below) at User talk:CommonsDelinker/commands to be handled by SieBot or rename it and move the content manually. If the new destination category exists, you can remove this template, replacing it with a {{category redirect|Baby carriers}}.
  • If the proposal is clearly or potentially controversial or requires a broader discussion, you can transfer the discussion to Commons:Categories for discussion (replacing this template with {{subst:cfd}})
  • If the proposal is clearly nonsensical, mistaken or consensually rejected, please remove this template.

Warning: processing period depends on activity of Commons volunteers. Hundreds proposals (especially with unclear reason or too weak support) stay waiting for many months to be handled.

Bot command: {{move cat|Baby cars|Baby carriers}}

English: Baby transport (or child carrier, stroller, perambulator ( pram) or baby carrier) consists of devices for transporting and carrying infants. A "child carrier" or "baby carrier" is a device used to carry an infant or small child on the body of an adult. Such on-the-body carriers are designed in various forms such as baby slings, backpack carriers, and soft front or hip carriers, with varying materials and degrees of rigidity, decoration, support and confinement of the child.
