English: Bensheim is a city in Hesse, Germany. It is located at the edge of the Odenwald mountains while at the same time having an open view over the Rhine plain. With a population of 39,642 (2005) it is the biggest cíty of the Bergstraße district. It is accessed by routes 3 and 47 and autobahns A5 and A67.
