The Bode-Museum (founded in 1904 as the Kaiser-Friedrich-Museum but renamed in 1956 in honor of its first director, Wilhelm von Bode) is located on the Museum Island in Berlin and houses the Skulpturensammlung und Museum für Byzantinische Kunst collection, selected works from the Gemäldegalerie collections, and the Münzkabinett coin collection.
