Bronisław Kasper Malinowski (1884 - 1942)
English: A Polish anthropologist and sociologist. His pioneering ethnographic fieldwork made a major contribution to the study of Melanesia and of reciprocity. He initiated a cross-cultural approach in Sex and Repression in Savage Society (1927) where he demonstrated that the complex was not universal.
