English: The Building E, generally known as the New Building, was built between 1968 and 1973. It has been designed by a team of five architects led by Eugène Beaudoin from France. Its architectural masterpiece is the Spence Halls beyond the balconies of three floors, leading to a window of some 1,000 metres square, the world's biggest in 1971.
