English: The en:Coconino Plateau, at the South Rim Grand Canyon, and southwards and southeast. The en:Painted Desert, Arizona, borders east (part of en:Canyon Lands; it is also the region of the Navajo Nation). The High Plateaus section of the en:Colorado Plateau extends to North Rim, Grand Canyon, the en:Arizona Strip-(east parts), and the High Plateaus section of Utah, which is equally large, like Arizona's section. The High Plateaus are transitional, to the lower elevation deserts at the western perimeter regions of the Colorado Plateau.
