Images in the category are reproduction of coins that are or were use in Canada. However, per Royal Canadian Mint Intellectual Property Policy, the design of Canadian coins are the copyright by the the Royal Canadian Mint, so images taken of coins after December 31, 1962 (Crown copyright is 50 years) cannot be hosted on Commons. Therefore any image of coins which were designed after December 31, 1962 will be deleted as a {{copyvio}}. See Commons:Currency#Canada for more information. |
