English: The old village of Corbera d'Ebre on Montera Hill has come to symbolise the tragedy of war. With population of almost 2.500 inhabitants in 1938, its runned streets and houses nowadays bear silent witness to the violence and brutal consequences of air attacks and artillery fire which the civil population suffered throughout the battle
