English: Cornsay is a village and civil parish in County Durham, England. It is situated a four miles to the south of Consett. The central village consisting of seventeen dwellings, including four farms and a public house (currently closed). The farms North, South, East & West Farm, formerly belonged to Ushaw College for the training of catholic priests, hence the organised nomenclature. East and West Farms are now in private hands, but the other two are still active, South farm run by the Suddes family for many generations, home of the pedigree Cornsay Limousin Herd of beef cattle. North Farm also run for many generations by the Tweddle family.
