English: Dartford was originally a iron full-rigged ship of 1327 tons, built 1877 by Mountsey & Foster, South Dock, Sunderland for Adamson & Ronaldson, J.T.Morten. Sold in 1888 to George Traill & Sons, London. In 1900, the vessel was sold to D. Corsar & Sons. On Sep. 22, 1907, the vessel arrived in ballast at Sydney, and in 1908 the Union Steamship Co. In 1921 the vessel became a coal hulk at Auckland, NZ. 1946, the vessel was dismantled and beached at Rangitoto Island, near Auckland.[1]
