English: In Finland children dress up on Palm Sunday as witches and visit neighbours with their decorated willow branches. The neighbour gets a blessing and the branch and gives some candy to the witch. In Sweden the little witches visit the neighbours on Thursday before Easter and get candy. They have no decorated branches to give away.
Suomi: Suomessa lapset pukeutuvat palmusunnuntaina pääsiäisnoidiksi ja kiertelevät naapurustossa virpomassa. Naapuri virvotaan oksalla ja lapsi saa karkkia palkaksi. Nykyisessä virpomisessa on sekoittuneena itäistä ja läntistä perinnettä. Ruotsissa pikkunoidat kiertelevät karkkia saamassa tuhkatorstaina.
