English: Description CWGC : Ternaard, the headquarters of the commune called Westdongeradeel, is a village on the North Friesland coast. It is 7 kilometres north-east of Holwerd and 33 kilometres north-north-east of Leeuwarden. The churchyard surrounds the church, which is on the north-eastern outskirts of the village. In the north-eastern corner are the graves of 5 airmen; 3 from the United Kingdom, 1 from Canada and 1 entirely unidentified.
