English: FNRS II was a Bathyscaph (deep-diving submarine) developed by Auguste Piccard in the 1940s. The French Navy took it over and relaunched it as FNRS III in the 1950s using the original FNRS II sphere (gondola) and a new submarine float FNRS III. FNRS III is currently a museum exhibit at Musée de la Marine de Toulon.
