The Fourth International is an international organisation of revolutionary socialists. It was founded in 1938 in Paris, with the backing of Leon Trotsky, to serve as an alternative to the Stalinist Comintern (the Third International). Today the Fourth International has sections and sympathizing groups in over 60 countries around the world.
