English: Frenchman Mountain — on the east border of North Las Vegas, in the eastern Las Vegas Valley of Clark County, southern Nevada.
  • In the eastern Mojave Desert ecoregion.
  • It is the site of the geologic Great Unconformity, with the tilted Paleozoic strata underlain by Paleoproterozoic Vishnu Schist, which is some of the oldest rock on the North American continent, having been created about two billion years ago.
