Freret is a long street in the Uptown section of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. It is mostly residential other than a commercial district between Napoleon Avenue and Jefferson Avenue, and the portion that passes through Loyola and Tulane Universitites betweeen Henry Clay Street and Broadway.
