English: G-MKVB is a Supermarine Spitfire Mark Vb, serial BM597, built during World War II at Castle Bromwich. It served with the RAF's 315 and 317 Squadrons. After the war it was used as a gate guardian. It was acquired by the Historic Aircraft Collection (HAC), Rye, England in 1993 and restored to its original condition. Website
