English: HDSH Georg II, Duke of Saxe-Meiningen (b. Meiningen, 2 April 1826 - d. Wildungen, 25 June 1914), was a Duke of Saxe-Meiningen. He is particularly known for developing the en:Meiningen Ensemble using his court theatre. He was married first to Charlotte of Prussia (1831–1855), with whom he had four children. His third wife was the actress Ellen Franz.
