Deutsch: Als Togoland bezeichnet man eine deutsche Kolonie, die von 1884 bis zur Einnahme durch britisch/französische Truppen 1914 (bzw. bis zum Vertrag von Versailles 1919) bestand. Das Gebiet umfasste die heutige Republik Togo und den östlichsten Teil Ghanas und besaß eine Fläche von ca. 87.200 km². Der Name Togoland wurde 1905 offiziell auf Togo reduziert.
