English: The Glen Canyon Group — a Middle Triassic to Upper Triassic/Jurassic, mostly sandstone geologic formation. The top member Navajo Sandstone, is one of the thickest sequences of "aeolian proccesses" produced sandstones of the Earth.
- The four Glen Canyon Group members are; youngest (top) to oldest (bottom):
- 4. Navajo Sandstone — Upper Triassic, Jurassic.
3. Kayenta Formation — Upper Triassic.
2. Moenave Formation — Mesozoic. (intermingled with Wingate)
1. Wingate Sandstone — Middle Triassic. (1st and base member)
