Deutsch: Heimat ist der Titel einer Film-Trilogie (1984, 1992 und 2004) von Regisseur und Autor Edgar Reitz. Sie ist zum Genre „Neuer Heimatfilm“ zu rechnen. Hauptort des Geschehens ist die fiktive Gemeinde Schabbach im Hunsrück.

Svenska: Heimat - Eine deutsche Chronik, tysk filmserie av Edgar Reitz. Heimat (Hembygd) handlar om det lilla samhället Schabbach och historien startar 1919. Heimat dramatiserar Tysklands 1900-talshistoria genom att följa olika personers liv genom olika tidsepoker. Serien har gjorts i tre delar: Heimat, Zweite Heimat och Heimat 3. I december 2005 visade SVT Heimat 3.
