English: Ignacy Daszyński (1866-1936) was a Polish politician. In his youth a founder of the en:Polish Socialist Party, he suffered extremely impoverished circumstances as a consequence of his political activities on behalf of social justice, socialism and Polish independence. Throughout his subsequent political career, he was known for his scrupulous honesty and incorruptibility.
