The Ivy League is an intercollegiate athletic conference composed of eight private institutions, all of which are in the Northeastern United States. The conference name is also colloquially used to refer to its member institutions. The eight members are Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, Princeton University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Yale University.
