English: Johannes Steinhoff (* 15 September 1913, Bottendorf, Thuringia) was a German fighter pilot during the Second World War. He was credited with 176 enemy planes shot down and rose to position of Inspector of the Luftwaffe in the Bundesluftwaffe. He died on 21 February 1994 at Bonn.
