Königsberg cathedral was a cathedral built when this city was Prussian and was called Königsberg. Although the city has been called Kaliningrad since 1946, this cathedral is usually called 'Königsberg (not Kaliningrad) cathedral, probably to avoid confusion with modern Russian Orthodox city cathedral. Today, the cathedral has two chapels, one Lutheran, the other Russian Orthodox.
