Japanese painter

Japanese painter who painted the flora and fauna of Japan, especially Nagasaki. He also painted the live on the artificial island Dejima, a Dutch Trading Post in the Bay of Nagasaki. He painted one of the few views of the islands live. Because of this contact his work is a merge between the traditional Japanese style and western style.
