Kollegium Kalksburg is a trio performing some especially bitter kind of Viennese folk music, soundig somewhat like en:Schrammelmusik. The same name, Kollegium Kalksburg, applies unfortunately to a well renowned Jesuite school in Vienna's former suburb Kalksburg (now part of en:Liesing). This suburb, however, is more widely known as one location of Europe's purportedly biggest rehabilitation facility, Anton Proksch institute (see: de:Anton-Proksch-Institut Stiftung Genesungsheim Kalksburg).
Members are:
- Heinz Ditsch: Accordion, singing saw, voc.
- Paul Skrepek: Guitar, voc.
- Wolfgang Vincenz Wizlsperger: Lead singer, tuba, comb.
The group exists since 1996 and hast produced 9 CDs.
