Deutsch: Der Loddon River ist ein Fluss im Norden des australischen Bundesstaates Victoria. Der Nebenfluss des Murray River entspringt bei Trentham und fließt von dort nach Glenlyon. Von dort wendet er seinen Lauf nach Norden durch Guildford und Newstead ins Cairn Curran Reservoir und weiter ins Laanecoorie Reservoir. Bendigo umfließt er im Westen mit ca. 40 km Abstand bei Bridgewater-on-Loddon. Dann führt sein Lauf durch Serpentine und weiter nach Norden bis Kerang. Dort biegt der Fluss nach Nordwesten ab und fließt parallel zum Little Murray River, bis er bei Benjeroop schließlich in ihn mündet. (→Loddon River (Victoria))
English: The Loddon River is a 392-km long tributary of the Murray River that flows through central and northern Victoria, Australia. The river rises near Trentham and flows by Glenlyon. It then flows generally northward through Guildford and Newstead, 40 km west of Bendigo through the Cairn Curran Reservoir and Laanecoorie Reservoir and continues north through the town of Bridgewater. It then passes Serpentine and north to Kerang. Finally it turns northwest and flows into the Murray River near Swan Hill. (→Loddon River)
