English: Lower Egypt (Arabic: الدلتا‎; al-Diltā), is the northern-most section of Ancient Egypt, referring to the fertile Nile Delta region.

It stretches between Upper Egypt and the Mediterranean Sea, from south of modern-day Cairo downriver to the coast.
