• Ludovico Pogliaghi (Milano 1857-Varese 1950) pittore e scultore, dai multiformi interessi. Protagonista di spicco dell'eclettismo di fine Ottocento. Ricoprì incarichi prestigiosi a Milano presso l'Accademia di Brera, la Biblioteca Ambrosiana, la Fabbrica del Duomo, il Museo Poldi Pezzoli, il Museo del teatro alla Scala. Come soprintendente intervenne in questioni di conservazione e promozione dei beni artistici della città.
