  • Italiano: Una lapide latina, collocata nel 1611, nell'abside del Duomo di Milano, commemora la solenne riconsacrazione del Duomo stesso da parte di San Carlo Borromeo (qui ritratto in un busto bronzeo di Gian Andrea Biffi) il 20 ottobre 1577. Ai lati stanno due telamoni allegorici di Pietro Daverio: Il Tempo e L'Eternità.
  • English: A 1611 latin plaque stands in the apse of the Cathedral in Milan, Italy, to commemorates the re-consecration of Milan's Cathedral made by Saint Charles Borromeo (a bronze bust of which by Gian Andrea Biffi stands above the inscription) on October 20, 1577. Two allegorical atlantes by Pietro Daverio complete the monument: they represent "Time" and "Eternity".
