Italiano: A Milano, sul sagrato della Basilica di San Lorenzo Maggiore, è stato eretto immediatamente prima del secondo conflitto mondiale un monumento all'imperatore romano Costantino I, che con l'Editto di Milano (città che era all'epoca la capitale dell'impero romano), nel 313, concesse libertà di culto ai cristiani. La statua è una copia moderna in bronzo di un originale antico che si trova a Roma, al Laterano.

English: A monument to Roman emperor Constantine I can be seen in Milan, in front of San Lorenzo Maggiore basilica. Constantine, by means of "Edict of Milan" (Milan was then the capital of the Roman empire), granted in 313 freedom of cult to Christians. This bronze statue is a modern copy of a Roman statue now in Rome, at the Laterano.
