A moonbow (also known as a lunar rainbow or lunar bow) is a rainbow produced by moonlight refraction in rain/mist drops. They are always in the opposite part of the sky from the moon, just like sunlight rainbows are always in the opposite part of the sky from the Sun.

Not to be confused with Moon halos, or Moon coronae: images of these should be dispatched to their respective categories: Category:Halo phenomena or relevant sub-cats, Category:Corona.
