English: Nellie Wise was an British cargo steamer, buit in 1873 with for Cory Colliers (William Cory & Son) Ltd.. Tonage :1053 GRT and Dimensions: 70 x 90.1 m. Compound engine by Blair & Co. Engine serial No. 482. with 110 h.p. (power). Wrecked on 8. January 1908 on Blackhall Rocks 3 mils NW of Hartlepool on passage London for the Tyne in ballast, later refloated and sold for breaking.[1]
