English: The Neocatechumenal Way, also known as the Neocatechumenate, NC Way or, colloquially, The Way is an organization within the Catholic Church dedicated to the Christian formation of adults. It was initiated in Madrid in 1964 by artist and musician Kiko Arguello and Carmen Hernandez as a response to the Second Vatican Council, and in 2008 was given definitive approval by the Holy See, receiving the status under Canon Law of a Public Juridical Person.
