English: Newhall Pass Interchange is a complex highway interchange at Newhall Pass, between Sylmar and Santa Clarita in the northern San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles County, Southern California. The interchange's roads, bridges, and tunnels connect north-south Interstate 5 (Golden State Freeway) with northeast bound State Route 14 (Antelope Valley Freeway). The I-5 truck bypass roadway was originally built as U.S. Route 99. The 1971 San Fernando earthquake and 1994 Northridge earthquake caused interchange bridges to collapse.
