English: North Elmham Castle, also known as North Elmham Bishops Castle and North Elmham Bishops Chapel, is a ruined castle in the village of North Elmham, in the county of Norfolk, England. It may have been the site of a timber Anglo-Saxon cathedral. In the Norman period, a small private chapel was built on the site of the timber church. In the 14th century, the chapel was converted into a fortified house, which fell into disrepair during the 16th century.
