The Northwestern Hawaiian Islands or the Leeward Islands are the small islands and atolls in the northwestern Hawaiian islands archipelago.

They are located northwest (some far to the northwest) of the islands of Kaua'i and Ni'ihau.
They include, Nihoa, Necker Island, French Frigate Shoals, Gardner Pinnacles, Maro Reef, Laysan, Lisianski, Pearl and Hermes Atoll, Midway Atoll, and Kure Atoll.
