English: Built in 1904 and previously known as Nottingham Midland, Nottingham station is the principal railway station in the city of Nottingham and the Greater Nottingham area. It is served mainly by Midland Mainline and Central Trains services. Station Street, the current southern terminus of the Nottingham Express Transit (NET) tram network, is adjacent to the station's north side. Phase 2 of the network will see the trams travel on a viaduct over the station at right angles to the train platforms.
