English: The Nuba Mountains (Nuba Hills) — a mountain range in southern Sudan

- Located in present day South Kurdufan state, in the Kurdufan region, north of the border with South Sudan.
- Traditional homeland of the Nuba people, and site of the agricultural Kingdom of Taqali (1750 – 1969).
- The Nuba Mountains were/are the location of battles: during the Second Sudanese Civil War (1983 – 2005); and in the Sudan internal conflict (since 2011).
