English: Otakar Švec (1892–1955) was a Czech sculpor, best known for his gigantic monument (15 metres high) in honour of Joseph Stalin in Prague-Letná (finished in 1955, two years after his death and destroyed in November 1962). Otakar Švec committed suicide one month before the unveiling. See en:Stalin's Monument (Prague).
