English: The Paraná River flows through lower central South America, in Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina.
- The river is 4,880 kilometres (3,030 mi) long. It is second only to the Amazon River among South American rivers.
- Its confluence with the Uruguay River forms the major Río de la Plata, which flows into the Atlantic Ocean.
